From Behind The Camera: Brianna Outshines Her Jeep In Her Modeling Debut

By now, you all have seen countless photos of the beautiful ladies that I work with, matched with either my 1969 Mach 1 Mustang or my 1990 Mustang GT. I have to ask, aren't you getting tired of seeing the same two cars? Well, thanks to Brianna, a beautiful Jeep has officially joined the list of photo shoot vehicles for Tyler Sorget Photography!

I first met Brianna in 2015, while working with the Nautical City Festival. I was asked to take informal photos for the Miss Rogers City Pageant. She was a contestant and was able to reign as Queen.

There are three things that I noticed right away about Brianna, her eyes, her smile, and her charm.... little did I know that we share an appreciation for our vehicles. Once Brianna started making modifications to her Jeep...she easily earned my admiration and respect.

I reached out to Brianna and asked if she would be interested in working with me and doing a photoshoot with her Jeep. She agreed and we began to discuss shoot ideas and themes. I originally thought about a winter setting, but Brianna asked if we could wait. She wanted to make sure that the Jeep had the right look and vibe... I completely understood!

Fast forward to the beginning of August, I get a text from Brianna that she's going to be home for the Nautical City Festival. I could tell that she was excited and finally ready for her shoot. We started discussing ideas and there were two settings one was a beach theme and the other was an off road theme. We decided to try the off road theme first...

The shoot took place in the sand and gravel pit at KC Hill. It proved to be a great spot to show off Brianna's Jeep! I have to admit, I was a little jealous, because Brianna had her Jeep all shined up and cleaner than my Mach 1 had been all Summer. I was astounded by the amount of detail that went into the modifications...

Knowing that this was the first photo shoot for Brianna, we kept the shoot simple in terms of poses, outfits, and props. As previously discussed in a prior blog post, I want the models to be comfortable and confident. Keeping things simple does just that! It also helps when the model has someone there for encouragement and suggestions. Brianna's mom helped her throughout the shoot. It was nice to have her there, so she could see first-hand how things go. I like building trust not only with the models that I work with, but also their families. I want to make sure that the finished product is something that everyone is going to like and be proud of.

With an unusually cool August morning, it was a good thing that Brianna came prepared with a variety of outfits. The shoot started slow, with simple ideas and poses... but eventually everyone became comfortable and open to different ideas.

Three specific outfit/pose combinations stand out from the rest... I once again suggested the use of the American flag, and I absolutely love the way the photos turned out! The colors of the flag POP with the contrast of Brianna's Jeep! Once again, these photos feel very patriotic and upbeat.

Next, is the set with Brianna and her Jeep at the top of the hill. To be honest, this idea was suggested by my father and I was skeptical that it would work. It worked really well... Brianna's outfit fit the country girl/off-road vibe perfectly, and the use of the hill allowed me to showcase the details of the suspension of the Jeep.

Finally, we were able to work on some photos for ShockerRacing! When I first started talking to Brianna about modeling and photo shoots, I knew that she was a perfect representative for ShockerRacing. As you can tell by the photos, Brianna is extremely proud of the Jeep. With all the time, effort, and money put into the Jeep, she is more than deserving of the attention.

We were able to get some really great shots! Brianna's feature for ShockerRacing will be published soon, so keep following my Facebook, Instagram, and website for more information.

I'm honored and happy to work with Brianna. It's nice to be able to share and discuss different ideas for automotive photos and fashion photography at the same time. I look forward to working with Brianna again soon!
